Giving Back: Our Sustainability Initiative
Since 2022 we have been involved in 21 international carbon avoidance projects where we have helped reduce 6.58 tonnes of CO2e across the globe which is equivalent to 5 long haul flights, 20 meters of sea ice saved and 16, 325 miles driven in a car.
Projects We Support
Read about some of the reforestation, habitat restoration, carbon avoidance and removal projects we support below. We have provided snippets showing some of the projects which helped us reduce 6.58 tonnes of CO2e across the globe between 2022-2024. Our journey continues into 2025 and we hope to bring more positive change to our planet.
Climate Action for Our Planet: All our customers are also contributing to this change as for every customer order we receive at Your Bangles, 1 Tree is planted. Together we can make more positive environmental impact.

Zoba Debub Community Boreholes Project
Repairing water boreholes in Eritrea
This Zoba Debub Community Boreholes project will provide long term access to safe and clean drinking water to hundreds of households within the Zoba Debub district in Eritrea, using borehole technology. Boreholes are used to access safe clean water from underground. Holes as deep as 100m are drilled into the ground, and drilling pipes are installed. A hand pump is then fitted meaning that water can be pumped out by hand.
